After Graduation
Employment and graduate opportunities are readily available to Environmental and Business Economics majors. Rutgers’ School of Environmental and Biological Sciences nationally recognized program of Cooperative Education enables students to supplement campus-based studies with periods of paid employment in positions related to their major. The combination of academic studies and practical experience qualifies graduates, as noted above, for a broad spectrum of positions in business, government and service organizations.
Many of our graduates are among the ranking economists, analysts, financial advisers, managers, marketing specialists, consultants, and policy directors in companies and agencies such as the following:

Advanced degrees, including masters in business administration (MBA), masters in agricultural & applied economics (MS), and other areas such as law, are earned by up to 75% of our graduates.
