Important EBE Course Updates
For EBE courses (course numbers 11:373:xxx), we occasionally need to make changes due to faculty personnel updates and other factors. Please check this page periodically for updates, we also email all EBE students about these updates.
1. 11:373:211 Applied Mathematical Concepts in Economics will NOT be offered in Fall 2026.
Students should consider the following courses to fulfill the EBE calculus requirement.
- 01:640:130 Business Calculus (3 credits) Fall, Spring, Summer
- 01:640:135 Calculus I for the Life and Social Sciences (4 credits) Fall, Spring, Summer
- 01:640:151 Calculus I for the Mathematical and Physical Sciences (4 credits) Fall, Spring, Summer
We are in the process of adding 01:640:130 as the prerequisite for upper level courses. For any course where 01:640:135 is listed as a prerequisite, 01:640:130 can be used instead. You can consider 01:640:130 as equivalent to 01:640:135. If you have any issues using 01:640:130 as a prerequisite for EBE courses (11:373:xxx), please email Elise Yu (elise.yu@sebs.rutgers.edu) for assistance.
